The only option that could affect this on "team settings" is "Prevent AI from making roster changes". It was checked at that time, now I have it unchecked.

In RL, it is a tuff honest answer. Right now today in the AL, there are about 8 teams with a Wild Card Shot so one could say they are in "Win Now" mode but realistically, most have no shot going...
