Earned Run Scoring Error

Just had a game with an inning where a run was scored, and the game counted this run as an Earned Run, but I think it's incorrect.

Pretty sure the Yankees would do this with Lou Gehrig later in his career. He'd hit in the top of the 1st, and then they'd put in a defensive replacement in the bottom of the 1st.
