Downloaded Silvam Parks, and now my Camera/Viewpoints are all messed up
So, I downloaded (using the Steam Workshop) the Historical Stadiums by Silvam14. They look FANTASTIC!!!
I have a fictional league (using real cities) with 2 8-team major leagues and each of those 16 teams as 1 level of minor league, for a total of 32 teams. I took the time to import stadiums for each of these 32 teams after my 1st season of play, and everything seemed to go smoothly. Everything showed up for each team looking at their ball park info (well, I had to change the latitude/longitude to match the real cities' locations rather than the real-world locations that auto-populated when I loaded the stadiums). Launched my 1st regular season game and..... My Camera/Viewpoints (which I had not touched) are WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY off. I am literally looking at the ear wax and nose hair of the players I am zoomed so far in compared to the default camera angles from my 1st season (using the default stadium the game generated). So.... What did I do wrong? Does importing the stadiums somehow change the cameras and view angles? I really don't want to go in and individually change/manage 32 stadiums of cameras and view angles if that's the case. Is there a way to get back to the defaults the game sets up when 1st installed? I made a backup of my game (not a save, but a backup) and have completely uninstalled OOTP and then reinstalled. I'd rather not have to start my Fictional league over from scratch, but I don't know how to undo what was done with the cameras/views. Help? Thanks, Tony |

The best way to correct your issue would be to copy new cameras to your park. Go into SETTINGS, then EDIT BALLPARK, then 3D MODEL, then..
Press the "copy cameras from park" button. From there, you go into the /models folder for the park you want to copy the cameras from (or any previously loaded park--for example, I use \angel_stadium_of_anaheim), then load the .ootp3d file. You should see a message pop up that tells you how many cameras were copied. You will probably need to adjust some of them, so be sure to cycle through, make sure they are all looking at the field and not obstructed, and save your changes by saving the park. |
