Finances Screw Up

Ok, so, this is my first time with OOTP, and I'm loving it to this point but....

I set up two new fictional leagues with relegation/promotion between the two, and 1 level (AAA) of minor leagues for each. I'm manager/gm of 1 team in 1 of the 8-team leagues.

I'm about 50% of the way through my 1st season, when I notice that the salaries of the players on my team are very low, like $30,000 a year. I don't recall during league setup making any changes to the financial screen. So I checked my other 8-team league, and these teams all appear to be regular, 2022-level salaries.

I then looked at the financial settings of the 2 leagues, and, sure enough, my league has financials that are VERY low compared to the other league. Again, no idea what or ow I got that.

I'm assuming, when it comes time for bidding on free agents this off season, that the other league is going to have a tremendous advantage.

What can I do? I know there are many settings on the financials league setting screen that can be modified. Do I just need to match those up with each other (the 2 leagues)? Is there something else I can try?

Thanks,

Tony

Enable commissioner mode & go to LEAGUE SETTINGS > FINANCIALS. Select your broken league in the upper right dropdown menu. With it selected, import 2022 from the dropdown, then I think you'll need to select each of the "ASSIGN" options right above ATTENDANCE to ensure it's all fully in effect.

I've not tried it myself, but I believe that will get you what you want. I would make a backup of your save before doing it just in case it doesn't work as you hope.

Thanks for the response.

I am already playing in Commissioner mode, but when I go to the league settings/Financials screen, there is no option for importing "2022" settings (or any other financial settings, for that matter). The only options for importing from the import/export menu are:
Rosters
Stats

There are export options as well, but no option to import any financial settings.

I also then looked at the All League Functions menu, and while there are a lot of choices there, I didn't see any that would deal with importing a different financial structure.

Honestly, I think I'm just going to start over (not what I want to do, as it took me quite a few false starts just to get the league set up I wanted in other ways), as I think I'm stuck with this financial set up.
