Until I pulled down the menu and realized "hah" didn't mean "hah, in your face" but "home-away-home":

Even then, I didn't realize it — I was wondering why "ahh" was a relief with the same no off-days — until I saw "ha h" at the bottom. Then the light dawned.

The letters aren't needed in the parentheses since the preceding description lists the home-away rotation.

Doesn't seem to be the optimal way to show this information given the unintended humor that results as per the OP.

Perhaps something like "Off day after game 2 and 4" for a best-of-five series with a 2-2-1 rotation.

Agreed. I probably would've looked at hah or ahh multiple times before figuring out what they meant.

Capitalizing and separating with a hyphen would help. For example, H-A-off day-H or H-A-off-H would likely be clearer if abbreviations are preferred.

Different worlds I guess, The very first time I saw it I grasped what it meant right away and thought it was a great addition to the game.

Don't assume everyone else does. Particularly for newer users. Even if most grasp it, is the current format the best way to present the data? Or could it be done in a clearer way that looks better?

Yet it nevertheless raises a legitimate point: is the information being presented in a way that is clear to any user and also looks good aesthetically? The answer appears to be no, or at least, it can be questioned.
