WBF seeks GMs

Hi, we are a fictional league entering our seventh season. Offseason is about to begin so it is the perfect time to join. We are a daily sim of just 4-5 days each day and with low injuries, so it is pretty low maintenance and it won't kill you if you miss an export or two. We do however give out participation points for exports (and other stuff like out-game voting for awards or recruiting people) which you can spend on perks such as altering park factors, boosting a prospect's personality, rebranding, etc. We play with coaching and scouting on as well as staff cohesion. There are 40 teams in the league and we have 35 positions filled. Very active Discord server with a mix of online/OOTP vets and noobs.

Open teams which you can check out in the above S+ link are Barcelona, Santiago, Havana, Bangkok, and Singapore. All of them have pretty good young players but just need to fill out the squad with some guys who are just average to become pretty competitive. Four division winners + four wildcard teams and 7 game series for every playoff series. Lots of chaos and we've had a few game 163s already. Drama! Excitement! super fun league, my main one. really interesting concept and we're all pretty active.

the above guy is mad he joined, got into the commish file, and lost in the playoffs.
and the draft was never held up for anything of the sorts, dudes wild. would not let him in any league going forward if i were commish.

There was no player editing. Player ratings do fluctuate during the playoffs.

Prospects that were deleted were agreed on by a vote beforehand to ensure there was not too many "MLB-ready players" (which can sometimes happen and be unrealistic). It didn't give an advantage to anybody as it was made before the draft. The league wasn't put on hold when it was done.

TLDR; if "LaLuna" or "MmmRocks" try to join your league, know they'll(same person) try to get into the commish file and if things don't go their way they'll sit on every forum possible for months on months on months end and make even more **** up. it's insane.

I joined this league two seasons ago as Bogota. Not one of the original guys, just taking on a challenge in a Coors environment with a Marlins budget. The worldwide thing is unique, player names are different than other leagues, its a cool concept. If you're just seeing the same leagues of Kelenic and Adell and Adley and Bellinger, well hey this one is way different.

If anyone wants, we saved all the screenshots the guy that used an exploit to see all the players' raw numeric values. They're still on our discord (heck i think its pinned??). I was curious - hey, I don't wanna invest time if there's cheating going on (aside from that dickhead), so I shared them in other OOTP servers with guys that have played much more than me, or run leagues forever. No one saw evidence of anything, other than a cheating GM using exploits to get into commish mode.

If one of the two simmers was editing players, they probably would've hidden the screenshots. They probably wouldn't want them pinned with the guy's rant to be laughed at now and then. We probably would have lost more than the one offending GM over it, too! But none of those things happened. That kind of closes the book on it.

Where he is acting like someone else in WBF accused me of cheating. However if you go through MmmRocks' posting history he has posted his email, which is the exact email of the person (Willie/Toronto) who accused me of cheating. Very weird behavior from this individual! Trying to hide the fact that he loves using the online league commish mode exploit I suppose.

Also LaLuna is almost certainly an alt. Nobody quit the league except for Willie. Very curious to know if they'd like to say who they are! Again - very weird behavior! Do not let this guy in your league! But join ours. We are cool and fun and not weird freaks.

I had never been in an online league before and I decided to join WBF and it is so much fun!
I barely even play the main game anymore, this league is that interesting.
Sims are almost daily and has a lot of active GMs.
They are also very active on Discord which makes it easy to follow along while not actually in game (huge plus for myself).

Come join, you won't regret it!

I can confirm, Mmmrocks, LaLuna, and Rose95 all share the same IPs. I'm waiting to hear back from the other mods to see if we agree on how to deal with this (it should be soon and it'll probably be harsh), but in the meantime I'll say I wouldn't believe a word any of those 3 accounts say about this league, or what any other new account might say about it.

Okay, just so everyone knows, the 3 accounts have been issued never-expiring red cards to the point that if they break even one more forum rule then they'll be banned. I've also told each to stop posting about Canary85 and/or their leagues and if any of them fail to do this then they'll all be banned. If anyone notices them doing this, then please report it by clicking on the report post icon, the icon that looks like an upside down yield sign, under their post count of the offending post.

To Canary85 and other WBF members: I'm sorry that you've had to deal with this for as long as you have. I've already edited out their posts in this thread and I'm going to hide or edit out their posts in the other threads they've harassed you in.

To anyone else: We don't normally like to wade into these online league squabbles, but there were a couple reasons to do so in this case: 1) the person wouldn't stop, it's been months of this and more than one thread, and 2) it's very likely one person using aliases to give more credence to their claims. So don't expect that we'll do the same in future instances of online league bickering. If the case is very similar, then probably yes, but if not, then probably no.

I barely even play the main game anymore, this league is that interesting. Sims are almost daily and has a lot of active GMs. They are also very active on Discord which makes it easy to follow along while not actually in game (huge plus for myself).
