And it's still beyond my comprehension why a player that can only dunk (ok, he had ONE year in which he shot very well) is a fan-favorite.

I mean, is this really the guy that fans like? Why? He doesn't do anything.

To be fair, he doesn't even dunk much anymore. He's had to rely on the rest of his game the past few years because of injuries.

Understood, and as a result he has been a shadow of himself. Yet, fans still think this guy is amazing.

"I don't want to dunk anymore," Carter told Sportsnet.

Although he asserted that his skills haven't diminished, Carter said dunking is overrated and unnecessary.

"You can make a layup and reach the free throw line," said Carter, who is averaging 3.18 free throws a game this season, well below the seven he averaged during his best offensive years from 1999 to 2001. His 14.5 points per game is also his lowest average since becoming a professional.

This is the type of moron Raptor fans must suffer. Not alone does he not want to entertain fans with dunks anymore but he doesn't want to make the highest % play to help the team win. He'd rather jog up and down the court and lob it up every once in awhile. Hell, he's not even upset about watching the game from the bench at the most critical points of the game. What a bum.

Either he's forgotten how to dunk, trying to piss off the fans, or is a complete idiot. I really wouldn't be surprised to see him dunk again once he gets traded.

Air Canada doesn't want to dunk? He better give back the money he got from sales from his "Air Canada" trademarks.

So the Raptors are down by 20 points to San Antonio late in the third when they BENCH both Carter and Rose (the two principals in the trade) and throw out the second stringers on the floor....

What happens? The Raptors post their greatest comeback in franchise history to defeat the Spurs by a score of 96-91.

Rafer Alston and Chris Bosh both scored 20 ponts over the game, and Lamond Murray scored all of his 13 points in the third quarter.

Vince scored 4 points in the game.

You know his and Rose's stock went up after that performance....

I really do hope they move carter and quickly. Sick of seeing him take fade away 22 footers with 20 seconds left on the shot clock, and nobody around to reboud. I really don't think he's a very good basketball player, and he's nowhere near where he was athleticism-wise. The injuries have definitely taken a toll on his hops. He's a whiner, with no heart, send him outta town.

Everyone may be an overstatement, but it should be everyone.
