The Auckland Athletics won the division but were bungled out in the first round of the playoffs. They'll be promoted to silver next season.

1B Harry Davis is our inaugural hitter of the season. Davis went .284/.380/.575 for a 156 OPS+ with 39 home runs, 36 steals (30-30 season baby!), 107 RBIs, and a league leading 129 runs.

Davis had a 32 game on-base streak from Late June to the start of August. He got the most votes in all-star voting, and was 3rd in MVP voting.

Our pitcher of the season is Scott Kazmir. He went 23-9 with a 3.36 ERA featuring a league leading 273.1 innings pitched, and 337 strikeouts. One game of note was a 1-0 victory in August. He went all nine innings, gave up one solitary hit (a single to Pete Alonso in the 2nd), and racked up 16 strikeouts.

Here's the team for Season 2: sadly, still waiting on the OL competition.

celebrate the little things..... first OL play of v23 season as the Waffletown Syrups and the Los Angeles Nighthawks will have a handful of games in Bronze-220

Fort Davis (FDW+) returns to Iron for their second season.

The Bordeaux Zoologists (BZ+) begin play in Rookie league for 2023.

And the Belo Horizonte Peasants (BHP+) dip their toes into the waters of the Entry Pool. The Peasants suffered through what would be widely considered one of the worst pack openings possible, with very few historicals, and nothing above a Bronze card in the standard packs.

Then, much like 2019 for the predecessors of this very same franchise, this guy showed up...

The Savannah Deckers won the World Series in the inaugural Stone season. Lots of PP earned and the standout was SP Rich Harden. Expecting a tougher week in Iron!

The Baltimore Barons are in Silver .277 with non other than the New York Patriots (Magus978). Ten games between us - I think I'm gonna get creamed.

Hey, that was me in the playoffs! Looks like we both got promoted to the same Silver league as well

This is my first year playing PT for more than a day or two and Out League seems super interesting. Am I allowed to join partway through? Just need to find a few more non-live Relievers which I will hopefully get done this week.

If there is any justice, EVERYONE in that league will get creamed by me. RNGjesus robbed me of my just rewards yesterday and this week I demand my players play pissed off all week.

They didn't post the push notification of the patch until I was unconscious, but I'm signed up for next week and I should be league-compliant. Looking forward to getting stomped by other FTP teams!

due to manager/team search issues, we haven't even started here yet, so welcome aboard if you want to join in... just need your team name/manager ID

At least random chance put 2 of us together while they fix the friend's list issue. Hopefully, this week, I won't have the best record in the league and get bounced in 4 in the first round.

Heh, kinda know that feeling…. Syrups had the best record last season… swept the LDS, but then got bounced in 5 in the LCS (by a solid Cephid Variables squad)…. We’ll see how they fare this week.,…

And according to what I’ve heard, the manager/team search has been fixed and should be in a beta test, so hopefully before the week is done that’s ready for prime time

I've updated the online sheet with league levels for each team. Looks like there are three teams that haven't been created yet, and one team with an OL tag that I don't recall seeing a post from in this thread (Columbia Cougars - TerryTsurugi)... adding them to the sheet anyway... if they update the friends list as well and show up we can verify the team is OL compliant at that time...

as far as which teams/levels to add, right now there are exactly 30 teams (including yourself) with OL tags, so you can add everyone, rather than pick-n-choose which ones to add... obviously once the others join the mix there will be some add/remove needed, and at that time you are correct - best practice is to add teams in your tier and the tiers above-below to cover any pro-rel movements for the next season

Nice to see a few OL teams matched up this week even with the random dispersal:

-Mount Hawke Tinners and Bruno Oblates in Stone 109
-Brooklyn Dynasty and Shinbone Stars in Iron 178
-Waffletown Syrups and Los Angeles Nighthawks in Bronze 220
-Auckland Athletics and North Bay Blizzard in Silver 258
-New York Patriots and Baltimore Barons in Silver 277

and congrats to Waxhaw Wayvern to be the first OL team at Gold tier this season

I added everyone with "-OL" and "- OL" and got all other 29 teams. Looking forward to starting the league this upcoming week.
