(first attempt at a dynasty thread (outside PT)... in solo play I typically have a penchant for racing through years rather than a slow walk-through, so I'm going to do my best to take my time with this one. Big thanks to: Justafan, for the Beer League logo and the jersey/ballcap designer programs; all the owners/brewmasters who started the micro-breweries and created the beers; and all the artists who designed the beer labels that became the team logos.)

A small group of micro-breweries got together during the Great American Beer Festival and discussed (somewhat as a joke) of forming a baseball league of their own. While the quality of the players would be far from professional, semi-pro, or even quasi-pro levels; the goal wasn't so much to showcase top notch baseball talent as it was to expose their brand to a wider range of potential customers. As more breweries came on board, the league began to take shape. When all was said and done, a brand new independent baseball league was born. Welcome to:

the Beer League!

40 breweries, divided up into 2 leagues with 4 divisions each. (league reputation will be set to the lowest rating of 0. While some players will show 'top notch' talent ratings for some of their skills, keep in mind they are being rated against other players in this league, and not in comparison to Major League professionals, so there's little chance any of them will be noticed or picked up by a big league outfit ).

Ballpark capacities will be limited to approximately 1700, with the price of admission being included in a slight bump in the price of a beer (two beer minimum); and player "salaries" will paid mainly in beer with a small bit of cash ($10 to $200 typically) included in the mix.
