When will we actually get to see some of the new stuff in action?
Like the add ons. For example, would love to see how “Shop a Player” works now.

One disappointment...
At the 0:19 mark, the division graph in the upper-right corner, it's still by winning percentage rather than games +/- .500.

Likewise, the injury system needed a COMPLETE overhaul as well, or at least settings/sliders to allow the user to make changes, because, again, after a season or two, the injury distribution becomes so skewed as more and more players become marked fragile that there is no way to get playing time curves that mimic real life. would be great if they focused on improving the nuts and bolts of the games one of these years: it's been many many years without touching player development, coaching or scouting...which all tie together. also team building AI, trading, etc get very small boosts every year.
financials also would be something that are untouched for a decade plus and essentially don't work at all, and have bugs that are pretty huge. |

neither one was overhauled at all, they just slightly changed how it was presented to make it harder to get full info immediately. probably a few hours work

You’re just plain wrong about this and I also see you overlooked the bits where they made changes to the simulation and development engine for this season.

I preordered and cannot wait for all the new stuff, but I kinda miss a road to release where they talk about all the new things that are coming like 1 or 2 new things every couple of days. Honestly that trailer didnt tell me anything other then new stuff is coming. Don't get me wrong. I love the game, bought it and I trust Markus and team will hit a homer with this version, just would like a little in depth discussion about the new stuff. Are we going to get anything like that over the next week before the next video drop on the 14th?

Enjoyed the trailer. Seemed like it showed more detail than in years past where you had about a half second to see something in game and then freeze it
![]() So pants are in along with alternate unis. Nice. I hope\assume the AI has a setting to randomly select game to game? It looked like the issues with the crowd in 3d was fixed? IE the dark shadow that looked like entrance tunnels. Can't wait to dig into the offerings in the views and filters. Usually with each new version more nuggets are added that help you find stats and ratings that allow you to see your players. I think a lot of users that complain about "nothing new, just a roster update" don't dig into the game and miss many things in the menus. Sortable team stats is a very nice addition. Previously, if one looked hard enough, they could dig out a few nuggets in this area but, not nearly enough. I mean they have a column for "magic number" so I'm thinking the options for filters and views is going to be extensive. One thing that has bugged me on the Player Pipeline is when you expand the player only his potential shows for batting or pitching. Why not have current\pot? It's virtually the same box that comes up on their player card. If one wants to see both they have to open the player card. As for me I never expand the box on this screen. I right click>open player card. I see the fielding shows what looks to be current\pot in the expanded Pipeline player box so maybe this could also be made to show in the batting\pitching sections? Really looking forward to playing out some games to see how the on field plays have been improved and added to. |

Look no further than v23 showing up on Steam to wish list along with at least one new screen shot. A simple topic of "v23 on now on Steam" here, with any screens posted there, would seem like the way to handle it to me. I wouldn't say it was "disrespectful" of the user base but "not well thought out" does come to mind. |

No. This is a separate event kind of thing we are planning for near the end of the season.

Yeah, and to be specific... They added the ability to see ratings that were previously hidden in redoing the UI. You could easily argue this may have only been a few hours work... but it was the exact opposite of making it harder to get full info. But, while I am not a fan, they also added 2 new coach positions, a more targetted coach training of players system, and the equivalent of player chemistry in cohesion. These were not just a few hours work. Not sure why you would make the statement you did.

When I play 22 there is a very annoying bug that as seasons pass the ages of High School and NCAA players increases.
My current league is in 2029 and the amateur draft is full of High School players in their 20's and NCAA players 24-26 years old. I know other users have witnessed this and I've reported it but it was never fixed. An age setting for the Amateur draft (like the one they have for international FA's) would remedy the problem, but I sure it's too late for that. If I had evidence that this issue is fixed I'll pre-order. |
