I still can't believe it - they finally implemented TIES.
*** and KBO players are going to adore that!

(also, alternate uniforms woohoo!)

No, it's still just one level, but you can do, for example, a round-robin of 5 teams where the top 2 in the pool advance. Or like a 7-team round-robin where only the top team moves on.

Sigh. Hoping for 2nd round.

Based on one of the Ratings screens it looks like you can see defensive rating potential now, which is nice.

Of course, I am most curious to know more about the improved simulation and development engines.

Changes?

I am excited for ootp 23! Here are some things I hope they fix or add:

1. When in game and the computer asks you if you want to send a runner to 3rd or home, it then skips the rest of the play and goes to the next batter. I wanted to watch the play unfold based on my choice to send the runner.

2. In game graphics to show the pitch that was called. Show the ball curve on a curveball or break on a slider. Slow down on a changeup. Right now everything looks like a fastball even if the pitch was a slider or changeup.

3. Can we have multi team trades? This would be awesome to make some trades work when there may be financial constaints preventing a 2 team trade.

Thanks to all who make ootp so awesome! Btw, I like to play offline using current real rosters. Oh and one question. If I want players to age slower as far as their abilites go, do I set the 1.000 to lower or higher in game settings?

Really looking forward to learn more about the improvement for the simulation engine. The game does a phenomenal job of simulating the current league but tend to get a bit weird further into the future when there's only fictional players.

For KBO and ***, which have ties after 3 extra innings in the regular season, and after 6 extras in the postseason.

The increased graphical options and custom prospect support has me very interested.

We don't know yet at this point.

However, I would guess it is essentially a way to create custom players for the draft or something along those lines. Currently, there is not much customizability in that area. Instead, you have to create random players and then go into the editor to make them into what you want.
