Hi - Just found out about OL recently. Seems very fun because it’s exactly the way I like to play - F2P and no live cards. Have two clubs, one currently in gold and one likely to be promoted to Iron next year that would qualify. The clubs are even presently called “No Money Spent.” Would be interested in adding my two teams to the mix if possible. Thanks. Last edited by jgfor3; 09-04-2020 at 12:25 AM. |

Hooterville is having a fantastic season in both OL and PT. In OL they have a magic number of one with nine games remaining. Norwood, also with nine games remaining would have to win them all while the Haymakers drop all nine to win the title. Both teams have three games today, first up Norwood travels to Jefferson Valley and Hooterville boards a flight for Cochise County. More than possible that the champagne will be flowing in the Haymakers Clubhouse late this afternoon. In PT play: In the NC- Hooterville (+13.5) and Norwood (+6.5) lead their divisions. Jefferson Valley who seemed in contention earlier in the week got off to a 3-10 start yesterday but rebounded to get their overall record back to .500. The Rebels trail in the WC by 4.5 games. Cochise County is the opposite of the Rebels, they got off to a rough start but have been playing well since June 1st and have themselves 5.5 back in the WC. In the AC Blitzkrieg is 4th in a 4 team race for the second WC spot. |

Welcome. Just post your user and team names. Then check out the spreadsheet and "friend" all the teams at your level, and at least one above and below. I would suggest you keep going until you hit the limit of 30. Make sure to add the -OL and the + to your team name and abbreviation, respectively. And don't forget to submit your changes. I would also ask that you post your teams' logos future crowing purposes. The link to the spreadsheet is on the first page of the thread. | |

Cary Moves Up in OL D351

Highland stumbled a bit and that allowed the Southpaws to grab the top spot. A quick glance at the table shows how compact the standings are, however, with all seven teams having a legitimate shot with a hot run down the stretch.

Gold league update: The race tightens up heading into the dog days of summer, with Weston Pointe maintaining a slim lead over Brigadoon and Waffletown. |

Bronze Update- Hooterville takes the crown

With a sweep of Cochise County Hooterville has clinched the OL Crown. Norwood is red hot in PT play (17-3 in August and 25-8 since July 1) but there just aren't enough OL games left to allow them to make a run. Congrats the Haymakers organization.

				Stone Update

The Dragones took two out of three from the Devils, so we end our season series tied 3-3. The Dragones and Iron Maiden end the season with a three game set, and that will be it for this season.

Bevo Mill Redbirds -OL and Shangri La Devils - OL are in same division, 18 total games. So far Redbirds -OL 11, SL Devils - OL 5, last three game set starting now. Both have a chance at PT playoffs.

Hooterville are the Bronze Crown winners this week. In PT play Jefferson Valley bounced back a bit yesterday and is once again over .500 and tied for the second WC. The Rebels will have to put their foot on the gas in September if they want to make the playoffs. There is a seven team race for the two wildcard births. Hooterville and Norwood are destined to win their divisions. |

The Brooklyn Pimp Ministers (user: jgfor3) are trying to hang on to Gold today, and the Brooklyn Untouchables (user: 3forjg) will be promoted to iron next week:

Rangers Rev Up to Take OL D351 Lead

Kansas had a strong month and grabbed the top spot, but the race promises to be wide and could go down to the end as the top four teams will face each other in season ending series. The Rangers host Cary for a three game set that will wrap up the seven games the two will play in the final weeks, while Highland closes its home season against Asylum for three. Every OL team will play at least six games, with the Southpaws slated for 14 league tilts. It seems it could be a barn burner.

Gold league update: The pack chased down Weston Pointe, and Brigadoon has moved into the lead in the OL standings (by virtue of one less loss) as we head into the final month. |

Congratulations to Otonokizaka on a OL-I171 championship! The Muse overtook Ft. Huachuca to capture the title. The Muse and Buffalo Soldiers split their six head-to-head games. Though Vlora could be renamed either Otonokizaka West or Ft. Huachuca East, since both teams owned the White Stallions during the regular season, the Muse benefitted by playing more against Vlora, amassing a 15-4 record against the paltry ponies. Currently, the Muse and Buffalo Soldiers are set to meet in the AC Wild card series. Sierra Vista will also make the playoffs, and all three teams should be promoted, while Daytona Beach looks to be the only team to be relegated. |

Fun fact: All of Otonokizaka's crowns have come in Iron (someone can clarify this, but I think it's true) Just as notably...I logged into PT 20 to see if they ever won a title as the Nico-Nico Kneecappers. They did. Last season, they grabbed a diamond title to FINALLY put a trophy in their once empty and extremely dusty cabinet. |

				Bronze Final

Hooterville can officially be crowned. The Haymakers left everyone in the dust this week and was the only team with 10 or more games to finish above .500. In PT play only Hooterville and Norwood qualified for the playoffs as division winners. The Haymakers will take on the winner of the WC game-either Texas of Peterborough. Hooterville had an identical 4-3 record vs each team in the regular season. Norwood will take on Danville and own home field in the best of five. Norwood only managed to win two of six vs. Danville in the regular season. Jefferson Valley had the WC seemingly wrapped up but lost 6 of its last seven including a 163rd game vs Peterborough to finish one game out. Nobody will be relegated and promotion will be decided by playoff results. |
