Thanks! I have been trying to decide if I want a fourth team in OL and decided this morning that yes I do. So I want add the Harbour Town Falcons; Manager, Raenel. I have been playing them all week in entry but just undecided. I never use Live cards so I have had them ready for a couple of days in case I decided on their entry. I love playing in the OL so I might as well. Please add them.

overall Gold league update:


Cooper has moved to the top of the NC Central division with a 73-60 record to give them a 3 game cushion for the division crown. CliffMarkle had a better month in August and remains 5.5 games ahead of the 2nd relegation spot. Waffletown unbelievably remains atop the AC East division (tied with Marietta) with a laughable 65-68 record (a bit sad that both wild card teams will most likely have better records than the division winner from the AC East, if this keeps up)

Yes, Aina Haina and I played each other... Battery Point won 5 out of 7 of the games played between the two. Neither one of us will make the playoffs this year; we are in a very tough league.

Interesting times in the Diamond level as the Mokes are in a crazy 4-way battle for the division title. That fight has spilled over to the Wildcard as well, with the Cowboys in contention. Somebody is going to miss out, and it'll be close.

I'm not doing well in OL but if someone can give me a status on San Pedro's chase for the wild card in I154 it would be appreciated. I won't be able to get into the game until morning

You're out of the second wildcard spot by 1/2 a game. The Eugene Eggheads have gone on a 7 game win streak and just knocked you out as per the last simulation. The Pennat Chase screen puts your chances down as 47.8%.

Which Keith Hernandez is the better Keith Hernandez? I have enough points to make a run at either one.

...or should I just hold out hope for a "Baseball Players to the Booth" content set and hope another Keith Hernandez comes out there

Currently using 69 OVR John Olerud at 1st, and while I'm not unsatisfied with him at all, I just like the idea of having Keith Hernandez and his mustache on my team while imagining Keith Hernandez in the booth preaching good fundies as my boys boot the ball around over and over again.

Just a quick thank you for all the hard work putting the OL league together.
We have had a lot of fun with our two teams.

Of course as I am writing this, I have come to the realization that both the Redmond Defenders and Seattle Endless Summer teams have been taken over completely by my two boys.

So I am back to being an observer instead of participant.
Maybe it is time to create my own team and show the kids how to win (cough....laughing).

You may find a last minute entrance from me tonight/tomorrow. Still need to settle on team and logo.

Honestly, I'd wait until Monday so you get the full week of Entry Pool play + points. Then it'll be time to show the kids a thing or two

Also, yeesh...Valdez finished 13-14 with a 5.60 ERA. 21-27 with a 4.80 ERA in two silver seasons. There are two other Valdez's in the league who are competent, yet I get the completely broken one. W-O-O-F.

Second that. Put a team in on Monday morning and have been getting a good influx of PP from entry pool games.

Well...81-81 is the mark for this season. I don't know what I should be more surprised at...that we finished .500 with this group of losers, or that we managed to stay in contention until mid-September with this group of losers.

Either way, this rotation needs to be cleansed. Clearout needed. Mulder and Rogers definitely gone, not sure about Valdez.
