That looks better but edit your signature again and make sure those IMG ... /IMG aren't enclosed in [ URL ] [ /URL ] tags. I've seen that happen by accident, and when it does, it doesn't render the images correctly.

The image URLs above look good - if you copy and paste them into a browser the images show up.

yeah, gotta love the wild swings from season to season.... my normally reliable bats (lifetime team average .275 over 9 seasons) is struggling to hit .250 as a group this season (just one month, so time to turn it around)... thankfully my starting staff is on point and carried the team on their backs through April.

So Chi-Town didn't make the team for this year, but that's alright! We're off to a decent start in the division, and hoping not be promoted for next week.

Hope to see some OL action next season.

I suppose I COULD explain it...but then I would have to explain why the Arkham Hippodrome has an extra base during the full moon and account for those runners who simply vanish when sliding into home. Feller Tosses No-No Against Athletic Club (OL)

In a dominant outing, Bob Feller of the Arkham Horrors (OL) totally silenced the bats of the Philadelphia Athletic Club (OL), finishing with a no-hitter.

In the Horrors (OL)' 2-0 victory, Feller faced only 36 batters, surrendered no hits, had 7 strikeouts and 8 walks.

"Honestly, I didn't even know the situation was what it was until the seventh inning," Arkham manager salem_witches said. "I happened to look up there to see how many hits we had gotten, and I happened to notice that they hadn't gotten any."

Commenting on the defeat, losing manager neptune told reporters in the clubhouse that he had a "pretty simple" analysis of the game.

"The Horrors (OL) had all the hits and all the runs, so they won," he snapped. "But yeah, Feller pitched a heck of a ballgame."

This season Feller has 6 wins and no losses and a 1.76 ERA.

I just noticed that the other pitcher was Niekro. Both were undefeated going into the game. Wow - what a game that would have been to see in real life.

Given that Feller was 21 years old than Niekro, he probably could only hit 85 mph on the gun when Niekro was pitching.

The Texas Strangers, manager BillyMartin are OL compliant and will be coming out of the Entry Pool ready for next week. They have a Ranger flavor but have to have fill ins with the lack of players and OL budget.

I saw this coming after yesterday's sims ended, and I was confirmed in the belief that my group was going to fade into irrelevance. 9-12 on the day (at last check) and perilously trending towards the bottom of the standings. Our starting pitching has been dreadful, but there's nothing I can do about that without more points. It looks like another week where I cash out my interest in the Patriots by Wednesday.

At least my new entry league teams are coming along nicely. Both are well on track to be OL compliant by the weekend, and ready for Our League play on Monday.

I do not spot them. No references to puppies, parakeets, or any other animal. You may have to spell it out for me on this one.

On a side note...Kevin McReynolds is absolutely killing these reject pitchers in Entry Pool games. Naturally, he's not gonna do anything close to that when the games matter, but it's nice to see.
