The Unofficial HEY NICE FEATURE Thread
One little thing that I noticed: on the standings screen, a little "e" pops up next to teams who have been mathematically eliminated from the pennant race. Niiiiice!

If you look, it's always present for the Mets, Yankees, Red Sox and a few other teams

I wonder when someone will post "why is there no E next to the Cubs"?

I also got an email that a team was eliminated from being in the playoffs. Neat stuff going on with OOTP16.

The font seems a little bigger this year. Or am I imagining it? It seems easier to read.

Looks the same size to me. As always, of course, you can choose the bigger font size in the settings menu.

I have 200 plus team leagues and it takes forever to figure out who has been eliminated. Nice Feature.

My favorite feature is the smart integration between lineups and depth charts. Adding a player into the lineup at 2B will automatically put him at 2B in the depth chart, and moving players from LF to CF will swap their positions on the lineup card. HUGE time saver for me.

The award icons logo appears for when a player wins a championship with a team. I didn't know this was in the game and is of course not a huge feature, but definitely appreciated.
Also player cards look absolutely fantastic.

This, the mouse over or "player tool-tip" is a great addition.
Also like in the player Editor how it gives a players personality a new summarization word under Personality Class. Fan Fav, Selfish, Normal, Captain, Slacker, Cancer...are a few I've seen so far. Edit: Oh and the "Meet the Team" tab is a winner in my book. Lot of little things I'm really liking. Last edited by SodoMojo; 03-20-2015 at 06:20 PM. |

Just discovered "Single Season" and "Career" Post-season leader board as well as the regular season.

Fixed series is what MLB uses, where even if both ALDS end in 3 games, for example, the next round starts a fixed date later. Not fixed will start the next round as soon as the previous round has completed. |

Series MVP for every playoff series. One of those features I'm happy to see especially since it picks it automatically. Otherwise it'd be a chore.

OOTP still doesn't have the authentic MLB post-season schedule arrangement (present or past), but the option does help it come closer. Maybe next year for truly authentic major league playoff schedules...
