One thing that a user could do to alleviate the dialog box covering the runners speed ratings is to move the runners boxes to the side. If you stack them on top of each other you would be always be able to see the ratings. This would take some getting used to, but it is a workaround.

This is how I avoid the problem. The Ballpark pics are from MLB 2010 I think.

If none of you believe me, just play out a game with ballflight on. You will immediately see what I'm talking about.

No, not at all a Mac issue. I am using a pc. I don't use ballflight, but if I turn it on, I get the same screen as the one shown in the OP's screenshot. Once you make your play selection and the play by play appears the player pic/ratings will disappear and ball flight will be shown. The players are just a strip with the name in it.
