I see way too many fight stoppages by cuts. Absurdly so I think. I run all my fights in watch mode at a 20/30 sec read. I have every fighter use the best possible cut-man. Rated as high as possible. |

I have mentioned it before, but from looking at the way the commentary is pulled based on severity of the cut I think adjustments can be made 1 or 2 ways.
1 - Reduce the amount the cut worsens each time it reopens and also set fights to never be stopped on cuts below the eye, a cut mouth or bloody nose. 2- Reduce the odds of a doctor/referee stopping the fight when the cut gets to it's most severe (and of course only on cuts above the eye, or across the forehead as indicated above) Again, knowing how this drives the commentary I am pretty sure it would be an easy fix in the fight engine. Is this something you could look at Paul? |
