This looks like a fantasic league. I really wish I had the time to join it.

Then again, I wish I had the time to do all I wanted to with my league. But, there's not 50 hours in a day.

I'll be following this with interest. Good luck!

Peace
John

Sounds fascinating

Really, it sounds excellent. I sent you a quick email ... I'm a veteren OOTP single player, and I just joined up with my first online league in the last couple days and it seems cool. Found yours, and it looks great, I'd like to get in on the ground floor.

It just takes too much time coming up with a strategy to beat all of the other KL guys in the ABA.

I'll be watching with interest.
I agree with what Joe says.

It looks like this will be a very solid league and I will definitely keep my eye on it.

on topic, the league looks interesting, although I have a great dismay for fictional players to start of with (I know I'm in the minority on this one)

Thanks to this forum, we did fill up with owners to the point where we even have a couple guys on the waiting list.

So far, things are going great. I had already simmed 8 years so as to have some stats to work with, so we started in the off season. We have completed coach signing and are finishing free agent signing, both extremely competitive. As far as I can tell, everyone is having fun. I know I am!

Thanks for all the encouragment, and, in many cases, advice.

We are now late in our first season, and things have gone well, except that we find ourselves in need of more owners, due to a few turning out to not have the time needed. In a league of 24 teams, we have a great core -- about 20 guys who seem very committed and competitive, and everyone gets along great. Some very good pennant races, and most teams in a position to think they can contend next year.

I'm looking for four owners, and, at the moment, our waiting list is only three... so anyone out there interested?

Color me guilty. I started commishing another league (never intended to) and had to drop out.

I am one the lucky team owners in this league. Am I having fun? I am sweating out a 3 game lead going into Sept and my team has gone cold. I'm having a blast.

Beorn,

I sent you an email over lunch today. I'm fascinated by DDB, and hope I make the cut.

Thanks,
Gordy

We just finished our second season and plan to begin coach/ free agent signing within the next day or two.

Hinsdale (the champ two years ago, barely missed the playoffs this year) needs an owner. Anyone interested?

I play in this league and I must say it is great. Many of the other owners have commented that this is the best league that they play in.

It's now our fourth year of operating as an on-line league, and we have had remarkably stable ownership for some time.

However, we now have a single vacancy -- Twin Falls. Anyone interested?

We are starting 1959, our seventh season, and our first using OOTP6.

The Ritchford team is in need of an owner. Is anyone interested?

This league is awesome - Every two days, I wake up excited to download the file and find out how my Roadrunners are doing. Don does a great job, and we do have an excellent group of owners.

The Ritchford team that's available is in my division, and they're very good and very young, so they should be contenders for a while.

Agree with all that is above - if I could fit 2 or 3 more in, KBL and DDB would be at the top of tree

Your league has everything I would look for in a league - fictional, realistic rules, very personalized. I agree that it leans a little toward the veteran OOTP player, which is difficult because the vets have been around long enough to become firmly entrenched in other leagues.
I think one of the problems with fictional OOTP leagues is that they initimidate new users - wooh, I've no idea what's going on, and what should I do? The only thing that I can urge new OOTP on-line guys to try fict. first before enrolling in another league. The first team you fall in love with you'l; never forget
