Count me in if possible. I have AIM, but do I have to register on the other site to join? I'd take any team, btw.

Hey everybody, we've got some openings! We just finished our first season of play and, as is to be expected, there are some vacant teams to fill. The Free Agency period has just begun, so this is the perfect time to grab a spot.

We've got three open teams to choose from.

Atlanta Storm - Team Page

The Storm are probably the most attractive of the open teams. They feature one of the best offenses in the league, lead by the league's best hitter. They've got young talent in the majors, and more young talent in the minors. The only issue in Atlanta is pitching - but with 26 Million Dollars in budget room this year, that's an issue that can be fixed by a willing GM.

Pittsburgh Eagles - Team Page

The Eagles are a franchise in transition. They've got some capable pitchers, and they've got some capable bats. But they don't seem to have enough of them, and they happen to play in a very tough division. There's a lot of money coming off the books after this season, so prospective GMs will have to make the decision between rebuilding the franchise for the future, or getting the most out of the pieces already in place.

Cleveland Tigers - Team Page

Last year, the Tigers were an aging team in financial trouble. After kissing some of their restrictive contracts goodbye, and parting with old players, the Tigers are ready for a GM to take them back to the top. Though they're not in great shape right now, Cleveland is the best place for a new GM to put his stamp on a team right from the get-go.

If you're interested in any of these teams, please let me know. Also, make sure you read up on some of the league's details in the first post of this thread. If you'd like to join, you can contact me by Private Message here, via my AIM screen name "Canndgoods", or through Email at GMYale at Gmail dot com.

Thanks.

When your account is new your posts have to be approved so that's probably why you didn't see them. I just deleted the dupes though so that's why they're now gone. At least they showed your interest level. Enjoy the league!
