trade deadline problem

I'm in my 2nd season and at the trade deadline the game stops responding...completely freezes...when it asks me if I want to stop the sim or not. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Interesting...I decided to try to play the game...

Interesting...I decided to try to play the game instead of sim it and it let me. I was able to sim through until the 8th inning...if I tried to play the game and simulate that way all the way...
