trade deadline problem

I'm in my 2nd season and at the trade deadline the game stops responding...completely freezes...when it asks me if I want to stop the sim or not. Any ideas on how to fix this?

How long have you waited? Are you relying on the "windows - game not responding" message? If so, DON'T! Depending on a number of factors having to do with your system and league things can take quite awhile to process during this time.
