What does Geopolitical Mean?
What does geopolitical mean.
I think it means like the socio-economic (dunno if this is a real word) factors....but the word I want is basically the one that means like people's wealth and **** based on where they live. E.I. People in inner citys are poor while people in BOulder, CO are rich. What word am I looking for? By the way, this is for a huge paper that is two weeks late already. Ouch...ha |

Have you tried a dictionary?
geopolitics-The study of the relationship among politics and geography, demography, and economics, especially with respect to the foreign policy of a nation. Geopolitical means the geography of a country influences its politics. The fact that Mexico borders the U.S., shapes Mexican and U.S. foreign policy. By the way, "E.I. People in inner citys are poor while people in BOulder, CO are rich." has nothing to do "geopolitical". |

I imagine you're probably thinking of the word "demographics", but it means characteristics of populations in general not just that the rich live in specific places. If you're specifically looking for a term to do with the geographical allocation of resources, which I think you are, then you probably want "economic geography". "The economic geography of Washington D.C. and its surrounding areas made it a prime candidate for the new home of a relocated MLB franchise."
