The reason the warning says update only between seasons - and all at once - is because absolutely NO testing is done between versions beyond league conversion issues. We have no way of knowing if exports to the commissioner using mixed versions would completely trash a league file or not - since we can't test those scenarios.
If is MUCH safer to plan ahead and have everyone upgrade at the same time. In addition, we can't answer any issues about mixed version problems since we can't recreate them. |
