5.13 - Online Owners Viewing FA

Some of the owners in my league have reported not being able to view FA contract demands post 5.13 patch. They go to the FA page, right click to be prompted for a password, and then can't see the player's contract demands when they enter their team password. I can see the contract when I enter my commissioner password.

Is there some switch I need to set in 5.13 to enable owners to see FA demands? This is post the 30-day FA period. Thanks.

PS - if nobody else is having this problem, please let me know. It may be specific to my league, I'm just not sure. Thanks.

I've not heard of it, was the league password on when you applied the patch? Have you tired changing it now and letting the GM's try again?

The problem is that normally people can just right click and see what the FA player wants. Now when they right click, the game is asking for a password. It appears it is asking for the commish passwrod since it won't take the team passwords. I'll try re-applying the commish password and see if that is the problem.

By the way, it asks for a password to look at FA demands in the TLB league file as well. We used to be able to right click on a player post 30-day FA and see what they wanted for contracts. Now it asks for a password.

I had the same problem yesterday. Wasn't too pleased about the change, but I thought it must have been done on purpose for some reason.

Here's the thing guys.

If you don't choose your team while looking at FAs, you get how the FA feels toward the team that is selected, not your own.

So Carl Dittmar feels the Detroit Tigers need a secret password or secret handshake to talk to him?? Try it Matt, a password pops up.

Spleen's was the idea in beta, but methinks this isn't implemented as intended.

Yes, right now only the commish can see the contract demands. I don't think that was intended.

Other than this problem, how easy is it to switch to 1.13? Would eveyone have to switch at the same time? Or can you still use 1.12 and 1.13 on different peoples machines?

I've run 5.13 in leagues where I am the commish and others had 5.12 and in leagues where I had 5.13 as a GM and the commish had 5.12 and had no problems in any of them.

Other than this problem, we've had people with 5.12 and I've been running 5.13 - everything else has worked smoothly.

Yes, this is definitely not what was intended...at least in my thinking

Ok, I just tested it. I set a commish password, then a different team password. Saved and closed the league and then opened the league again. I went to the FA area, right clicked on a player for my team and the password box opened, I typed in my team password and I was able to see what he was asking for and enter a bid. Is that not correct?

I agree with Steve.

I set the commish password to 'password'.

I set one of the team's password to 'spleen'.

I closed out the game and restarted.

Went to offseason FA, selected the team and right clicked on the player.

Password popped up and I entered 'spleen'.

Everything worked.

So do we need to reset all of the passwords again? Has anybody been able to do this with currently set passwords?

I reset my Commis pass word only, tried it with a current non-reset password and it did not work.
