Great Looking League Site
it's a league I am in that I think has a very good site from a design/navigation standpoint + it looks very historically (1902) accurate

Looks tremendous and really gets the feel of the times. I really envy all those talented guys out there who produce a fantastic range of websites for all kinds of OOTP leagues. Sniff.... sigh....

It's not only a great looking site but is well run
I am the NY Giants in this league...The Tigers and Senators are available and a nice crop of rookies next year for these two downtrodden teams

Dude, its a 1902 league. The site couldnt look any more perfect for the league and its year. Sporr, I found the owners list right after I posted, but I'm still blown away at all the stuff on the site and how he has integrated the OOTP reports into tabbed pages for each team. Kudos to the webmaster. Who's the commish? |

That is a sweet site and it's only in 1902, sounds like a sweet league. I'd like to be in a league like that, so someone give up their spot so I can join.

I will agree with Cooley's sentiments...outstanding effort! A hidden gem in the OOTP world.

The only thing I'd change is centering the entire thing in the browser window. I am a bit anal about symmetry though. Definately a site that puts mine to shame.

That's really incredible how the player pages, reports, etc. have all been modified to fit the site's theme. Amazing!

I bet that is how websites looked in 1902, good work to the web designer for historical accuracy. Who did the work? If you don't mind me asking?

http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...of+the+diamond This is definitely a league that I'll be keeping my eye on. If it does well for a significant amount of time, I think I might try to join. I agree about centering it though.

Thanks for all of the compliments. The site took a couple of months to develop.
I just wanted to design a site that I would not have to maintain. The front page reads through the news.html file and extracts important articles within the simmulation time. That way all I need to do is copy the OOTP generated HTML files to the destination folder and presto I have a front page. Thanks again for looking and please check back. I'm hoping to continue to add new features. |
