Online Articles..

Our league (S3BL) just finished off the off-season. I was thinking of writing up a preview to the upcoming season. Something like an article giving each teams chances of winning the World Series. But, I was curious how many managers do you think actually read the articles people write on their league sites?

It wouldn't surprise me if a lot of managers didn't even check articles, and just checked their team and league standings.. What do you think.. is it worth writing up a long prediction page to the upcoming season? Or could most managers care les...

I always read any article that's written about a league I'm in. But even if not many of your owners read it, if it's fun for you do it. Sometimes I write up short articles about guys on my teams. I don't know how many guys in the league read them, but it's fun for me so I keep doing it.

I'm not an article writer, but I nearly always read the articles in my leagues that are written. If it's got numbers or humour in it, I'll most likely get a good amount out of reading them. But like Rowleyball said, if it's fun for you, do it, regardless of how many people will read it.

I do team summaries for every league I'm in. I figure less than half the owners actually read them, but they are fun for me so I keep doing them. Helps me to get into the leagues. I also end up getting to know all the players better.

Also, if its about the Owners team. Odds are 99% of the time they will ATLEAST read the article about there team. So your getting something out of it.

But I too, read every article wrote in sims I am in.

Personally, I enjoy very much written articles on a league's website, Wheter it's about my team or other's, It add's interest to a league's website and show's to the other owner's that you care enough to make the leagfue interesting.

League's that have a website and never update, Or leave the same article on the site for an entire season (Which I've seen) to me is just plain boring and show's me that the league is second rate.......Write your article and keep on writing and writing......Other's will appreciate it.
