Wanted: Historical League...

Preferably 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's, or 80's (don't know jack about 30's and before, but might be willing to give it a try)

Preferably fast moving (3 or more sims a week, 5 or more weeks done in those sims)

Preferably a rebuilding team (Don't really want to take over a winning team, no sense of accomplishment)

Preferably Braves, RedSox, or Senators (obviously this one I am least likely to get)

Preferably majority of owners on AIM, MSN, ICQ (doesn't it make it alot easier to trade)

Been watching these boards for about a week for an opening, and suprisingly, not many historical leagues. Most leagues seem to be fantasy or current time...

True, not many historical leagues. I would enjoy playing in another one and would help, if someone would like to create one.

WTL is a great league that has successfully mixed fictional with historical, I just wish I had of gotten in on the ground level.

Oh well.

Someone should start a 20s era league.

The UBL is a historical league currently in 1929. If historical is your thing you should check it out and express some interest in joining. Who knows, you might get the next opening.

I had just joined a 1970's historical league that decided to fold 2 weeks afterward.

I dont know when, or how yet, but classic MLB will be up and running again. I will post any opening we have, on the boards once I get confirmation.
