Next Patch?
We still need at least these two things addressed:
Pictures not sticking: https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...d.php?t=368863 Player history scroll bar missing: https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...d.php?t=368281 Minor things but they should be fixed by this point.

They’ve been far more focused on the major issues: the broken fielding as well as memory leaks and other 3D issues

I think he's referring to the unrealistically low number of 3-unassisted groundouts.

True, he always flips to the pitcher. And there are a lot of these plays.

You want these two things addressed. I wouldn't call them a must have need.
Not everyone uses pics or has an issue with them sticking and I didn't even notice the player history scroll bar missing. Personally, I want them to tighten up game crashing instances and i'm getting sick of having to redo my team overview tiles every time I load the game. |

Was this close to starting my long term....but with hints of another patch, figured to wait a few days. Hope by Thursday, so I can work on it during the NFL draft

It is completely broken. 3B are getting 60% conversion rate on BIZ unlikely and remote plays. In non normalized settings, babip is 15-20 points lower than it should be because of that. The plays are going to the wrong people: SS are getting fewer plays than they should, 2B/3B getting more. Devs are working on it, fix should be out soon, but it's been a major, major problem all cycle, especially in perfect team where we have tournaments that aren't normalized to hit league totals. I don't see this anymore. Believe me, I did in earlier patches but now I am seeing drafts with no 5 stars at all. The last couple of drafts I have seen only 6-8 players rated above 3 stars.

I'm not seeing what's radically different about 27 from 26 in draft classes. Very pitcher heavy to begin. I definitely don't think they turn into all 80s, that's for sure. Personally think development is slow, but it has been a long time. At least there are sliders for it.

Unfortunately at my pace of play I won't see a new draft class for probably 4 to 6 months of real time. My current inflated class was published before this latest patch with all of the problems that entails. My draft is still a month away and this patch did nothing to "adjust" the class I have, and to be clear I don't think any patch is going to do that. It's probably best they don't even try. IE trying could lead to bigger problems, I think. I think it's going to be a bit of a mess for me until I get through a few more seasons to see real improvement. IE each new class, if you are right, will come in "fixed" and then be combined with my draft pool of players created pre-patch. It may not be fun, but it is a price I'm willing to pay to get a final fix to the issue.

I admit, I was more troubled when they last 'tweaked' it back a few years ago and suddenly no player was ever found who could possibly transition to the MLB within a year (also not realistic). I look upon draft values, much like International (but less so as they are older with more verifiable history), as compared with their pool, to be further scouted in my system. I may not expect them to remain 80 (except for rare picks), but I expect higher potentials to still be better players, which they generally are. That said, I do understand your complaint. There will be things that yank each of us out of the simulation. |

Adding one more "needs fixing" to the list -- not enough scoring from 2nd on singles and 1st on doubles. A LOT of holding at third, without even an option to attempt scoring.
