Do you play during season or year round?

I was just wondering how many of you play OOTP during the MLB season and how many play year round. I guess I'm a tighta*s about full immersion as I play right along during the MLB season. I can't quite picture myself having the All Star Game at Christmas.

You?

Definitely year-round. There's nothing like watching the real World Series end, being sad that baseball is done for a few months, and immediately firing up opening day on OOTP.

Monthly bursts. I usually power through a couple seasons on my long term save before I get bored/burnt out.

Sometime around the 'real' ASG i'll start using the newest release.

nowadays, i barely get past league creation before taking long breaks. By the time i get all the high water individual marks where i want them for seasons and careers, i get a bit burnt out, lol.

Year round with a slow down in the winter as I will play some other games then. Last year I played a ton of CFB25 on PS5. The only time I totally stop is if I complete a season in January or later. I then wait for the new version so I'm ready to import when the new version releases. I think the longest I ever waited for a new version was 4 weeks. Most years I will complete a season just ahead of release.

I had my longest pause ever over the last couple of years, but I usually get sucked back in around spring training and thus tend to play in-season. In the US season that is

Seasonal. Usually start late February or early March. Usually quit in late July or early August. Love baseball and football equally, so I mess around with a couple of football games.

Every day. I have a fictional universe that has been going since 2009. I am in 2040. One season matching the calendar of the current season and one season over the course of the off season. Then I get the new version. Rinse and repeat.

Year-round, and interesting because I find myself playing more in the offseason when there are no actual games. I do tend to fall off in October as I'm trying to watch as many games as possible, and it's the one time of year my fictional games are less interesting than real MLB.
