This is my attempt at creating an alternate universe. Based completely on the Lord of the Rings universe. My plan is to create logos and uniforms for 12 teams based on Middle Earth lore. I have made a nation for the world database. Working on a names database too. The only part I completely lack the skill for, is ballparks.

Once completed, I'll be uploading a quick start, all logos, uniforms, etc.

It has been over a thousand years since the fall of Sauron and the destruction of the One Ring — or so the stories say. That era, filled with Elves, Wizards, Orcs, and ancient magic, now lingers only in half-remembered legends and dusty folklore. Real or imagined? No one can say for certain.

Today, Middle-earth is entering a bold new age. The world has shifted from myth to machinery, from swords to steel. Industry hums through the valleys once walked by kings and heroes. Once-sleepy villages have grown into booming cities, each with its own unique identity, culture, and pride. The Elves, Dwarves, and other elder races have long vanished — their presence now the stuff of bedtime tales and crumbling ruins. Only Men remain, shaping the world in their image.

And with this progress comes passion — none more celebrated than the great unifier of the realm: baseball. Across mountains and plains, from the White City to the Black Gate, the people of Middle-earth now rally behind their hometown heroes, as the Middle Earth Baseball League (MBL) takes center stage in this new, thriving world.

Welcome to the Middle Earth Baseball League (MBL), a fictional professional baseball league set 1,000 years after the fall of Sauron. Elves, dwarves, and wizards have passed into legend, but their cities and myths remain as inspiration for the modern world of men. Industrialization has touched every corner of Middle-earth, giving rise to cities, sports, and a passion for baseball. The league is split into two sub-leagues representing the mystical and imperial regions of the land. Each team carries its own heritage, colors, and dedicated ballpark where fans gather to cheer their heroes.

The Gondor Guardians play in the towering Minas Tirith Coliseum. Representing the proud legacy of Gondor, they are known for disciplined play and an unwavering sense of duty and tradition. Their dark silver and stone-gray colors evoke the White City's enduring strength.

Colors: Steel Gray, Crimson

Bree Brewers - Imperial League

Colors: Brown, Cream

Ballpark: Barrelhouse Field

The Bree Brewers are known for their rowdy fans and strong offense. Inspired by the famous inns and taverns of Bree, the Brewers bring a lively and unpredictable energy to every game. Their deep ale brown and foam tan kits reflect their hearty heritage.

Mordor Flames - Mystic League

Colors: Black, Fiery Red

Ballpark: Mount Doom Grounds

The Mordor Flames bring fear to opponents with a fiery attitude and aggressive playstyle. Clad black in molten reds and burning oranges, they dominate the diamond with power and intimidation, keeping alive the fierce legacy of Mordor.

Colors: Moonlight Silver, Royal Blue

Ballpark: Starlit Grove Stadium

The Rivendell Stars are elegance in motion. Their starlit blue and moonlit silver colors pay homage to their ethereal home. Known for finesse and strategy, they combine ancient wisdom with dazzling athleticism to outmaneuver their rivals.

Rohan Riders - Mystic League

Colors: Deep Green, Gold

Ballpark: Riddermark Arena

Speed, spirit, and tradition define the Rohan Riders. With forest green and bright white uniforms, they charge into competition with the intensity of cavalry from the plains of Rohan. Their fans are some of the league's most loyal.

Mystery and might combine with the Isengard Wizards. Based out of Orthanc Field, their gameplay mixes clever tactics and raw force.

Colors: Moss Green, Dark Bark Brown

Ballpark: Greenarrow Grounds

Deep from the dark woods of Mirkwood come the Archers. Their sharp, precision-based game reflects their namesake. In moss green and ash dark bark brown, they are masters of the late-inning strike and silent victory.

Colors: Shadow Gray, Ice Blue

Dark, quiet, and menacing, the Angmar Wraiths play with a cold efficiency. Their ice blue and shadow gray uniforms strike fear, and their defense-first strategy suffocates opposition before they can gain momentum.

Ancient and rooted in tradition, the Fangorn Ents play a deliberate and thoughtful game. With earthy greens and bark-toned accents, they embody patience and strength, slowly grinding down opponents over nine innings.

This quick start has all 12 teams, with logos, full uniforms, etc. No players, but there is a name database for Middle Earth style names. Also, the world database has the nation of "Middle Earth".
