Getting a new Computer

Do I need to do anything special? Will the code transfer over?

Even if it's only the 2nd computer you put it on, if you're not going to play the game on the old computer I'd still delicense it.

Ahh, I'm sorry. I hate it when that happens.

First, did you get the game via Steam? If yes, I don't think you need to deal with licenses.
