This will likely help your computer run other programs better too as it won't be putting so many resources into looking at all these files. When you do, however, make sure you're excluding the correct folders as OOTP's data might not actually be where you think it is.

White listing install and saved game locations can make a big difference on older machines, or on big leagues, especially if you're saving all boxscores and logs.
