Thumbs up Inside the park, walk off, grand slam !!

Here's something you don't see every day. Down 4-0 headed into the bottom of the ninth. Then down 4-1, bases loaded with 2 outs, and a 1-2 count. Guzman hits the RF-CF gap and I'm hoping he clears the bases to tie the game. He just keeps motoring and scores the winning run with an inside the park HR.

Nice! I love comebacks and that's about the coolest comeback you can have.

He equaled the feat of the Great one. The Great one, Roberto Clemente, is the only player to ever have a Walk-off Inside-the-Park Grand Slam. Something every Pirates fan knows about without looking it up.

Never knew that about Clemente's inside the park grand slam. As it happened in my game I was wondering if it had ever happened. Question answered.

Any inside-the-park HR to me is the most exciting play result. And it can happen any time in any game. You never know. A walk-off inside-the-park Grand Slam is the ultimate.

I still remember, as a kid, seeing Johnny Callison hit a long fly to the RF fence in old Connie Mack Stadium in Philly. It hit on a catwalk under the scoreboard - still in play - and bounced. The RF couldn’t snag it. By the time it came down, Callison had easily rounded the bases.

Cool - please run a report showing how many grand slams, walk offs, inside park home runs in your league for
each team
each player

Not a grand slam, but one of my favorite Giants memories was in 2013, when Angel Pagan hit a walk-off two-run inside-the-park home in the 10th with the Giants trailing by one prior to his hit. That was incredible.

Cool as the other side of the pillow. This is why the core game is pulling me back in from Perfect Team

Already have it.

Cubs, Guzman, 1.

Shows the accuracy of OOTP when it's only happened one time IRL and now only one time in OOTP.
