Quick Start--Game Now Much Slower

I've utilized the Quick Start Option to follow along the current season with my home team. The game now is much slower--sticky click responses--delayed results and many spinning "blue circles" when I attempt to move pages. What's going on please?

In your saved game folder for that .lg - are any of the .dat files particularly large?

Given the multiple reports of something sounding awry, I'm sure they'll take a look - but check the other thread too for updates if no one comes on this one.
