Every player called Jim Unknown

patch (version 24.2.48) -When I start a new MLB game every player is called Jim Unknown. Tried 3 times happened every time.

Sounds to me like the patch may not have worked. If you're using Steam, have you tried verifying the integrity of the game files?

I just tested creating a new lg with the same build and I didn't have the same problem.

Yeah, this sounds like a borked install. If you verify the game files like kq mentioned, or on the standalone go to settings > troubleshooting >force re-install game data, that should fix this up.
