Can this be addressed with this year's version of the game?

I experience at least once a week, sometimes more for last few months that even when I click remember me for account name and PW for Perfect Team, the game never remembers either.


If it could remember our PT account name (and pw would be great) without resetting after every new download and update to the game, it would really help.

This would be very nice. Sometimes I feel like I have to log back in each day.

Agreed. It's part of the reason I don't play as much. When it says I have to log in every time I start the game, I don't even bother going into it.

Aside from server resets on occasion, the only reason it logs me out on my computer is because maybe I logged in from my laptop (and one can only be logged in from one device at a time). Does this log out issue happen to folks who go from device to device as in my example or is it happening to y'all constantly from just that one device without logins from elsewhere?

For me, it is on the PC only. No Steam, no Mac, just one location. It does it too much for me. It did it around 9pm Friday night, and I was hoping this could be fixed to at least remember the account name. It hasn't for a while. Some weeks it happens at least 2x a week, the other is around 1x a week on average.

For the PT players, can we just have a menu of our 3 teams to click on which one we log in to?


And for that matter, can the logic for the login daily rewards be changed so the points and packs show up as soon as we log in, rather than having to log in, log back out, and log back in again?

So, the token that gets saved does indeed expire after 28 days due to security reasons. Plus, sometimes when we reset the server instances, these tokens get reset, too. So unfortunately there is nothing we can do here...

Well, then for 28 days the game should remember me? It can't even remember me for 1 second.

There’s a really good chance that that’s something with your setup, like the behind the scenes browser PT is using is set to not save cookies or something. I’m equally sure OOTPD is not reinventing the wheel with that sort of thing…

I was going to say the same thing. It could be a windows setting, firewall setting, VPN setting and the list could go on and on. I had to log into Steam each launch for almost a year until I saw that something was "turned off" in Windows Services. Over the years I have had "unique" issues with various games and eventually found out it had to do with my PC.

True, yeah, and thin client applications like PT can be weird sometimes for the end user. They’re great in that they tend to leverage the capabilities that already exist on your PC to browse the Web and so on, but a lot of the time they also assume that everyone’s computer is set up the same way, which, I mean, is better than providing a hundred jillion options sometimes but then can get confusing when people think they’re using an app like single player OOTP when in fact they’re kinda sorta using a fancy web browser that’s built into OOTP.

Plus of course, people, especially the exact group of non computer savvy people whose eyes glazed over the second I said “thin client”, are just straight up not going to understand how all this works. It might be worse, I don’t know, given OOTP’s older player base (although I’ve noticed that, unlike the gap between Gen X and Boomers regarding tech, I’m not necessarily noticing that younger folks are necessarily more in tune with how computers work than previous generations anymore). Overall, this is definitely the way I’ve had architected this - in fact, I’ve even architected something semi similar in past jobs - but there will always be issues.

I get signed out about 2 to 3 times a week. I run it every day multiple times a day. Only runs on Android Pixel 6 so I'm not getting logged out by other installs.
