ZR and EFF
Quick question. I started a new save to test some stuff out and never paid attention to fielding stats. However, when I go to a player look at career fielding stats ZR and EFF are all 0. Why is that?

So I don't know why you have this issue.

Actually the answer seems to be those stats are only tracked in-game and not real life stats prior to game creation confirmed by looking at retired players in online leagues and seeing those stats start from creation date.

Yeah I think that’s correct, ZR and DE aren’t pulled from BBRef or wherever and I don’t think are part of the original lahman database the game pulls data from, so it’s only calculated with game generated stats. I’m also wondering if there’s something that uses the internal “chances” stats to come up with a thing…

I've noticed that they are missing from minor league players in my long running fictional save.
