Too early to mod?

I know OOTP doesn't like to give spoilers or hints about what's coming in the next version and I get that 100%.

I *am* asking if it's worth spending a lot of time right now working on a new world xml, stadium and uniform files or if they'll be obsolete in a few months.

They've usually been easy to move over from year to year, but sometimes they're not.

The data files have generally stayed the same over the years. I’m only a few years I to the game. I am using a completely custom world database file that I made for OOTP20 and it still works fine.

They have made some changes recently to the name files, school files, and format for the uniforms.

The uniforms are backwards compatible for now but I would create anything new in the new format.

The rest of the files I had to rewrite with the change.

TL;DR Start with uniforms since that is a brand new format but odds are you’ll be okay to get everything lined up

I can’t speak to stadiums though. I’ve never dabbled with those.

I’m crossing my fingers they break apart the English.xml file but they haven’t for years so I’d probably assume it stays the same until it doesn’t.
