Is this playoff format possible in OOTP?

I assume it's not because I coudn't figure out how to easily do it without totally trashing the current traditional playoff format in my league, but I'll ask anyway...

Five teams make the playoffs:

TEAM A (SEED #1)
TEAM B (SEED #2)
TEAM C (SEED #3)
TEAM D (SEED #4)
TEAM E (SEED #5)

TEAM A gets a buy.

The rest go into a pseudo double elimination format playing a single game for each round:

TEAM B (seed #2) vs TEAM E (seed #5)
TEAM C (seed #3) vs TEAM D (seed #4)

Lets say, for arguments sake:

TEAM B beats TEAM E
TEAM C beats TEAM D

From there, we get a winners and losers bracket:

TEAM B (1-0) vs TEAM C (1-0)
TEAM D (0-1) vs TEAM E (0-1)

From there:

TEAM E (0-2) loses to TEAM D (1-1). TEAM E is eliminated.

TEAM B (2-0) beats TEAM C (1-1)

Next round:

TEAM B (2-0) gets a buy
TEAM C (1-1) vs TEAM D (1-1)

TEAM D beats TEAM C (1-2) TEAM C is eliminated

Next round:

TEAM B (2-0) vs TEAM D (2-1)

TEAM B (3-0) beats TEAM D (2-2) TEAM D is eliminated

Next round:

TEAM B (3-0) vs TEAM A in a seven game series.

Essentially, three wins, you're in. Two losses you're out. Is this possible? It's fast and chaotic, but could be interesting.

No, you could probably use the ladder format to generate a type of way to do that...the playoff formats are extremely dexterous compared to the early days, but no triple-elimination format exists.

Yup…. That’s what I figured. I always thought it would be a fun thing to try though. The idea is to create a playoff format that would heavily favor the team with the best record. Put the remaining seeds through hell to get to that final championship round.

No, but what you can do is....

Five-teams to playoffs.

Quarterfinals:
#2 Seed vs. #5 Seed
#3 Seed vs. #4 Seed

Semifinal:
Quarterfinal Winners

Finals:
#1 Seed vs. Semifinal Winner
