never had a Perfect card drop in 2000 more opened packs

Is it me that is not lucky, I've been playing OOTP Perfect TEAM in OOPT 19, OOTP 21 adn Now OOTP 23 and i have opened more than 2000 packs wich is more than 12 000 cards and i never dropped a PERFECT Card.

Perfect card drop ratio is it 1: for every 1000 card or one of every 1000 packs ???

You should get a perfect card in around every 200 packs (according to the odds... but I've had some pretty long cold streaks!)

The way it works, you're guaranteed a bronze for standard (or silver, gold, diamond - whatever the pack is) - so you have 5 chances per pack. So you should have pulled 10 perfects during this span. That's brutal, man. I hope you hit one soon.

I do feel your pain; I also had something around a 1200 pack cold streak earlier in the year - 2200 or so without a non-live perfect. Then I pulled 3 (2 non-live, 400K value) in a 25 pack. It's the way it can go.

I ran my first packs-only team in PT21, keeping a tally up to 10,000 packs, at which point I had pretty much exactly the 'correct' number of live, and non-live perfects. So I assumed that the drop rates were bona fide.

In the two versions since, from six figures of packs, I've pulled roughly half the non-live perfects that I've expected. Last year, I had one team go over 5000 packs without a non-live perfect, and I had another team pull 2 non-lives from 28 free perfect packs. This year's been all about the 2000 pack barren spells.

With that said, I'm not sure I've ever gone 2000 packs without even pulling a live perfect. Although, in Gray_fox's case, that is split over three versions.

I am a free-to-play player and I've opened god-only-knows how many packs this year. I have 2,927 different cards as of today if that gives an idea - some of those were rewards or AH purchases, but the vast, vast majority came from opening packs. I average probably 10-15 packs per day, so my rough guess is 2,500 or so packs since the start of PT23.

Here is a complete list of the non-live 100s I've gotten from packs this year:

- Joe Sambito
- Brandon Crawford
- Lou Gehrig
- Watty Clark
- Harry Stovey

I got Sambito and Crawford before the Platinum Series was released. Then I got on a hot streak during Platinum Series 1, and pulled Gehrig, Stovey and Clark within a couple weeks of one another. I haven't had another since.

I'm not sure what the live:non-live ratio is - 2:1? If so, that's five 1-in-3,000 chances per pack. If my estimate in packs opened is correct, that's about 12,500 chances I've had, with five hits. I'm running slightly ahead of what my luck "should" be.

Also F2P - I think the ratio is more like 3:1. I've opened over 10,000 packs this year, and there's no way it's been 2:1 for me.

@OOTP Development Team / Dish - can we get a confirmation on the breakdown of live vs. non-live cards in the pack odds?

It's been long claimed, though not officially confirmed if I recall correctly, that the packs split is 70% Live / 30% everything else. I don't expect OOTPD will ever state anything officially outside of the published odds for each pack.

sometimes you get lucky, sometimes not... all a crap shoot...

I just got back-to-back perfect cards from two packs (yeah, it was two perfect packs, but if that's what it takes )

Last year drew Perfect cards in 2 of 3 packs one day. Then went nearly month without seeing one. Random...like it's supposed to be.

I've stopped paying because of the painfully tweaked drop rates. It's been a sliding scale.
