What is the setup process for utilizing FACEGEN photos?

I saw a collection in mods - that I'd like to use. It is easy to do?

Do you have the Steam version or the FastSpring desktop version of the game?

For Steam, a forum member named "FancySkunk" collects the facegens made for that year and updates the "Complete Universe Facegen Pack" (CUF Pack) annually. It is in the Steam Wrokshop and can be subscribed to.

For the Fastspring version, download the CUF Pack.zip file and navigate to your fg_files folder. My FastSpring OOTP game, for example, is under My Documents on my PC, subheading OOTP23. Use "Select All" to grab all the .fg files from the unzipped pack and copy them into that fg_files folder in the game. That's it. Refreshing will update the photo for players as needed and new games should reflect the pack.

While the facegens in that pack are only updated annually these days, folks like me (see my signature) do supplements all year (adding new players/replacing others with better visages) for those that want more frequent updates than FancySkunk has time to do.

Any chance OOTPB will allow for additional photos per player in the future?

That feels wildly beyond the bounds of the game and a lot of extra work with, frankly, not a lot of benefit for most people. I'd love to have action photos on baseball cards though...
