Did a quick search but couldn't find the answer - so what exactly are the Power Ranking Points and how are they calculated?

I would assume it factors in a team's Pythagorean Record, ERA, and AVG, and maybe recent record.

Seems to be mostly based on record but I imagine your rank in several other things on the table are thrown in.

Nearly a year later, does anyone know how the power rankings are calculated yet?

This thread is still going to be around in 2078 and nobody will ever get an answer- because it seems nobody knows or cares.

Actually, I saw this thread reappear and thought it would be fun to try to figure this out, though it would mean being a geek like MG said way back when. My working formula so far appears to get completed 162-game season numbers correct...

I would like this answer, but beware of re-opening a thread. There are police around here who will email you bad emails for doing it...yes, sadly, I'm serious.
