Via our PT Support Guru Alex Murray, this video released today shows how to "migrate" your account from PT22 to PT23 with the new backend for PT23.

This will be CRITICAL to getting loyalty rewards for past versions, so please watch this video so you're ready for PT23's eventual launch!

So if we have an email address that is no longer functioning we can still use it because no confirmation email is being sent?

To determine the team names and email addresses I've been using, I uploaded OOTP 20 and was able to log into every team. I clicked on each team to access my Challenge Mode Online Profile.

My three teams:
Cheesehead1964, Cheesehead1965, and Cheesehead1966

all are linked to the same username Cheesehead1964 and email address

In OOTP 2022, I was able to register Cheesehead1964 using the email address and password. It looks like I got loyalty rewards (diamond pack and couple of golds). I tried the same for Cheesehead1965 and Cheesehead1966 and got the error: "Email already in use."

Does anyone have a solution? I did file a ticket....

Using the exact same email address shouldn't have worked, they (at least for the last 2-3 game cycles) needed to be different. They definitely need to be different for PT 23. Is it possible that you used something like the Google period trick in past years? In my experience, those will end up looking like the same email address from OOTP's side.

(When I registered my 2nd and 3rd teams this year, the special character I used in my email address for those teams did NOT populate automatically in the authentication token field when I completed the email verification step. That indicates to me that the Challenge Mode online profile for your prior teams may not be showing you the correct email addresses for those teams.)

It hasn't been released for 23 yet, but if you had 22 teams, you can use the directions in this thread from last year.

I can't imagine it would be much different once it's ready this year.

Registered wrong username

I just picked up 23 and registered a new PT username with my old email not realizing I had to use the same username as before and now obviously can't register as my old username to get my loyalty rewards.


I figured any loyalty would be based on the email address, not the username. I was wondering if there is any way to migrate back to my old account name now that a different one is registered to the email address in 23?
