Next version of OOTPGO?

Should we expect a new OOTPGO version around the same time as OOTP23 is released?

Where?

I was hoping for a newer version with Commish controls?

I could see the PC version moving to this model as well
I am not predicting, but it would not surprise me

From post 7: The app itself will not be replaced, OOTP Go will always be OOTP Go, there are no versions. We will update it with new data, features and access to new PT versions along the way...

Thumbs down.

Really want commish mode. Can I still see my PT22 teams when PT23 comes out?

Commish mode would be a feature, so there's always a chance to have it added. I still won't give it a minute til they add fullscreen support on IOS

I think I need an IPad for this. I use to play MLB Manager on my phone all the time. Loved it, bought the updated roster every year. OOTP go is too difficult to play easily on just a phone though so it’s not relaxing and it’s slow. If I have time for the full version I’ll play on my computer. If I just want quick or relaxing fun while on my phone while doing other things then honestly I’d love a verion of MLB Manager 2022 with current rosters. Although I guess that’s unlikely to happen now. RIP MLB Manager, the perfect phone game.

I play on an IPhone and OOTP takes up all of the screen area.

Cool. It doesn’t on iPad Air released in 2021. There’s a black border to fake a fullscreen

100% agree with this. While my hats off to the devs for creating a great game in OOTP Go, for me the simplicity of MLB Manager and iOOTP before it, while lacking in certain areas was a perfect companion when I travel because of its ease and lack of depth and I took it for what it was. Was it perfect, no, but it filled a gap which was good enough for me.

Again, not throwing shade at the devs the new game is excellent but we all have preferences in a gaming experience. Now (shameless plug) if they added text only mode, commish mode and random debut.....

Same for my iPad mini. Doesn’t take the full screen either.

Not that it matters but my future wishlist:

1. Coaching staff
2. Multiple players on shop a player
3. Salary inclusion for trades
4. Commish mode

More suggestions for updated features in Go!

Yes to these, especially commish mode. Would also like an option to restart a season with game’s current rosters. I am half way into 2022 Mets season (having figured out how to mostly update rosters using trades and all teams’ player editing.

Other features:
Edit player’s salary
Remove no-trade clause (not 10-5)
Unretire and retire players (Cano!)
Add sortable field for fictional players
Add field for major league team (instead of having to take ade players to correct team)

Once I get to the end, I want to be able to restart 2022 season with the same rosters, just resetting season stats and schedule.

If anyone wants to know how I update rosters, please reply.

I’d like the option to watch my team play without me having to uncomfortably click each pitch or each out please. It really hurts my wrists after awhile.

I agree with the people above who liked MLB Manager for their phone. I’ve never played the computer version of OOTP. I’ve bought the computer version but I’m just not home enough so never ended up getting to use it. I was a huge MLB Manager fan though, but on just a phone I can’t get into OOTP GO, it doesn’t play well on a phone. Maybe I’ll eventually get an IPad to try it out. But I’d really love a version of MLB Manager with updated rosters. I went from playing this game 4 hours a day to not at all with the new version.

I agree. I loved MLB Manager. I played more seasons with that game than any other. OOTPGO is okay, but I am not sure where it is going and it is not as easy to use as Manager was.
