I'm down 2-1 in the bottom of the 9th in the 6th game of the ALDS and my Rangers are down 3-2 to the WC Tigers. I choose 7-game series for the playoffs because I think they are more exciting generally. In the 7th and 8th we had runners in scoring position but could not get that needed clutch hit to tie the game.

So we start the b 9th with excitement as my good hitting catcher strokes a double to the gap in RCF. Before he even gets to second base I'm thinking; pinch runner. Except he's not on second! What? He missed first base and was called out on appeal!

I stared at that screen for several minutes but nothing changed. My next two batters both PH and LHB vs RHP went quickly and the series was over. Initially I was pissed but after some time I say "way to go OOTP; you drive me crazy but I've been playing this for almost 20 years and I wont stop coming back for more".

Seriously that is a crazy way to lose. Cool it can happen in OOTP, sucks it happened to you. One of those OOTP moments you'll never forget.

I lost game 7 of the World Series 11-0. Can you believe that. That was the one game that my team decided to not show up for the game.
