Upgrading to OOTP22
Hello,
Been using OOTP 21 for a year or so now. If I upgrade to OOTP 22 will it just seamlessly load over the 21 version? So all my leagues etc will not change, including settings? Thanks |

you'll need to import your 21 league into 22 for it to work in 22. It's pretty straight forward. Opening screen has the box to mark for it to happen.

Thanks. Does much change in game play in 2022? I really like the simplicity of 2021. I play manually every game in a season for the Reds. Just as the manager only.

You won't see any difference in playing out your games as far as choices, sub menus, etc. You will see a big upgrade in stadiums and player movement. Do yourself a favor and go to the mod forum and download the "read ad" mod for the stadiums here..
https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...d.php?t=326278 Also I did a little testing and came up with, what works great for me, some timing settings for the in game presentation. Here is that thread.. https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...d.php?t=327576 Untick the "1b line" and "3b line" cameras so they're not used as dynamic cameras. They're a bit to zoomed in and limit what you see. With them disabled the "behind the dugout" camera comes into play and gives a much better look. There are still a couple of growing pain issues with the dynamic camera but most of the time it works well. Between the dynamic camera, my settings, and the real life ad mod v22 is starting to give off that "feels like your being at the game" vibe. Enjoy. |
