Christy Mathewson witched five scoreless innings, leading the newly renamed World Series Champions to a 7-4 win over the Cubs in their first Spring outing.

Frank Schulte went 3 for 4.

Antonio Perez left the game under concerning circumstances.

They lost 5-1 to the Cardinals.

Heinie Heitmuller left the game but his ailment is not considered serious.

Even though the Dodgers lost 2-1 to the Cubs, there was certainly a bright spot. Newly acquired Bunny Hearn allowed only one hit in three innings of relief. It was nice to see.

The Dodgers lost a very sloppy game - on both sides - losing 5-2 to the Reds.

Roy Mitchell left the game with a strained oblique. He will likely sit for the next week.
