New Logos and Uniforms for 2022

The Winnipeg Goldeyes of the American Association are updating their logos and uniforms for 2022 as revealed in this video (logo/uniform reveal starts at the 38 second mark):

I dunno....while the old logo could have used some freshening up I'm just not a fan of this. It feels like a step backwards.

I don't care much for the logos but I like the uniform. Take the sleeve stripes off and I'm sold.

The West Virginia Power of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball announced they will re-brand as the Charleston Dirty Birds for the 2022 season

Here are the logos (need to be resized for in game use)

The rebrand is effective for the rest of the 2021 season, as of yesterday. They played Game 1 of a doubleheader yesterday as the "Charlies" and introduced the rebrand for Game 2.

Not me. I like the whimsical minor league names. It gives off a lot of fun vibes. We have "serious" names in every other sport, minor league is supposed to be family fun, these names emanate that.

Thumb through the Minor League Encyclopedia or Mike McCann's Minor League Source website sometime. You'll see that the whimsical minor league name era has been going on forever

If you see new uniforms being release for teams for the 2022 season and make unis/hats for them to use in the game, yes

I actually like the Goldeyes logo. It's neat to see someone going understated for once. I also like the new Charleston logo and think that's its a clever way to honor the mining industry, but I will always be partial to the Charlies nickname.
