Historical Uniforms/Logos/Jersey Fonts for OOTP24!

Hi All,

I'm proud to present v1.2 of my historical uniforms/jersey fonts collection. Thanks to No Pepper, Deft, TxRanger, EriqJaffe, and others who helped with this collection last year!

I am excited to introduce historical alternates in this version!

Virtually every alternate from 1901-roughly 2015 is included here.

The best part? With the new team colors xml functionality, Every team will now have their correct alternates loaded upon game start up and before each new season!

Granted, I may not have had everything exactly perfect, and I cannot test every season, so I am asking you for feedback on this and I will do my best to fix.

As of now, I'm sure I left off many current alternates including the city connect uniforms. I will try to get around to doing those, but I will release some updates as I add more.

To install, extract the zip file to your \Out of the Park Baseball 24\data folder. (I would back those folders up to be safe, but I don't believe my mod will overwrite any stock game files)

It can be downloaded here:

https://www.mediafire.com/file/o21z3..._v1_2.zip/file

Look for it to be added to the Steam workshop soon...

Enjoy!

silvam14, thank you for your dedication to this game. Being a first time beta tester I have seen how much you and others have done behind the scenes to improve the game. Your uniforms and ballparks are incredible and make this game so realistic. You do know it's just a game. LOL.

I finally got these to work after some experiments and conversations with silvam14. Others might have a similar problem and maybe my solution will work for them.

For some reason I could not get the colors/fonts working properly so for example the 1959 Red Sox were in red numbers on the jersey even though silvam14's jersey away for that year's Boston had them in the proper blue.

Solution:
1. I changed the colors folder in the default data to org_colors.
2. I created a new folder in data named colors (it will have no contents until step3).
3. I copied all of silvam14's .xml files at his v1.2/colors and pasted them into the data file named colors.
4. Then for a team like 1959 Boston at their settings/modify team colors, logos, textures, I pressed button Import colors XML file.
5. Find boston xml for red sox in the drop-down menu and click Import.
6. Auto-load for logos and home/away ballcaps, jerseys, and pants. The road Red Sox now should have the correct blue numbers.

Getting the colors xml's so the game uses them properly is the key. Maybe others do not have to go through what I did but at least I have a solution now.

When creating a new historical league. It imports the colors XML files automatically. It also imports them again around opening day each season. If you are installing the mod in the middle of a season. You will have to do what kcstengelsr outlined. Or import the whole league at once from the settings page

No problem. No Pepper also put a lot of work into the deadball collection of uniforms. Tremendous work on his part

I used one of these uniforms in OOTP 25 and tried to load a 1972 Oakland A's to the Oakland 1969 team and for some reason it would not load in the game. What am I doing wrong?

Never mind. I figured it out.

These are amazing!

I love using the team’s older jerseys/alt jerseys for the rookie and Dominican leagues for organizations
