It's nice to be able to move columns around and add/remove, but...
it's a letdown that everything reverts to default as soon as you leave that tab/page. Why is there no option to keep the layout I prefer?

Been a bit since I did this so my memory may be failing, but I think if you move the view you created to the top of your local views list, it should become the default.

IME it does “remember” the last layout you used on each screen. Sometimes you have to flip between the lineup and pitching screen to get those to work right but otherwise I certainly don’t have to reload the custom views I made every time I open one of them.

Just make your you save the view after you customize it. Then you can make it local or global. Global if you want access to it everywhere
